HELP MY BRAKE WEAR LIGHT IS ON!!
The brake system on your vehicle is set up with sensors to warn you when the brake pads/discs are getting low. Don’t worry though, there is a built in allowance to give you time to book your Mercedes into Autohaus Auckland to check what needs replacing.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY MERCEDES-BENZ IS BOOKED IN?
Our technicians will remove the wheels and measure your brake pads and discs on both front and rear wheels. Brake pads and discs have minimum allowances marked on them so the measurements taken will be checked against this.
Our Autohaus Auckland Technicians will also carry out a test checking the quality of the brake fluid if it’s not clear Brake Fluid has been replaced within the last year. It may or may not be necessary to replace Brake Fluid if the pads are being replaced. If the discs also need replacing it is highly likely the Brake Fluid will need replacing and the system bled.
